Based in Sydney, Australia, I am a mother of 3 and photographer who loves a laugh, a great meal and spending as much time in the ocean as I can. I’m a sentimental soul and I love listening to nostalgic tunes, chats with the elderly and giant mugs of tea. I remember flicking through our family photo albums as a kid with such reverence. You know the ones… some terrible pattern on the cover, with white ring binders and that sticky peel-back plastic covering grainy sentimental snaps of my life. I was hooked in that moment on photography.  

Travel is my joy - we’ve gratefully carted our three children around the world as much as we possibly can. Seeking out different cultures, experiences and making memories. We lived in France for 7 years and it’s certainly shaped us profoundly as a family. I’m so thankful for all of the images I’ve taken of my family on our journey. Our travels are a huge part of our story.  

I’ve always loved photography. The concept of remembering the here and now with an image. But it was through the haze of new motherhood that I realised just how special an image really is. We lived away from family and friends having moved overseas, and I realised that it was just me. I was the keeper of the memories.

It all goes by way too fast. I remember holding my first-born daughter in the shell-shocked weeks of post partum like it was yesterday! And in the blink of an eye, she’s a little lady.

Along came another 2 babies and the sweet newborn days seemed to rocket by - where had it all gone? I look back and I am just so thankful that I regularly capture our days so that I have these beautiful memories to look back on and gift to my children. I have safeguarded our story. Each photo takes me back to those moments with so much more clarity than my memory can. The things we forget, can be remembered forever. That is my why.
